Position: Sourcing Manager ORGANISATION & REFERENCE The Souring Manager reports to Global Sourcing Director who oversees the strategic aspects of our global sourcing initiatives, while maintaining a dotted line to the General Manager of VIKING Life-Saving Equipment (Jiangyin) Ltd.to ensure alignment with local policies and support from the local team. RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The role focuses on executing sourcing projects hands-on, closely aligned with strategic goals. Additionally develop and implement strategies to optimize costs, reduce risk in close cooperation with Global Category Managers. Ensure a strong collaboration between various functions (Manufacturing, Global sales, Quality and Engineering) locally and globally. • Be a key player for developing and implementing sourcing strategies locally aligned with business objectives. • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure costumer needs are met. • Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier frame agreements. • Monitor market trends to identify cost opportunities or risks. • Conduct RFQ’s and benchmarks. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and specifications. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Manage risk in the supply chain and develop contingency plans. • Track and report KPI’s related to sourcing and supplier performance. • Be Global Sourcing representatives in China and support Global team and manufacturing sites. • Lead and participate in local/global Sourcing projects QUALIFICATION: • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s preferred) • You have 8+ years of Sourcing Experience • Strong negotiations and Contract Management skills • You have a strong theoretical background within Sourcing, Engineering, Fi
